Ground Risk Management (GRM) must be the first step in any construction project. Unlike construction materials such as steel, timber and concrete (which can be built and tested in a controlled environment), soils and rocks have been generated by the Earth without “quality control” over millions of years and subjected to a wide range of dynamic processes during their lifetime. GRM is essential before and during construction, in order to identify potential ground hazards and quantify the cost of safely dealing with those hazards to ensure a successful outcome for the project owner.

We have over 30 years of international experience related to exploring the ground and assessing ground risk for development and construction. We have directly interpreted ground conditions for major and minor construction projects in the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Germany, India, Cyprus and The Bahamas.
